CIVIL SURVEYING SITE DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENTAL ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL
Project Description
This 23,186 SF car dealership in Morehead City, NC replaced an older existing dealership building on the same site. Stroud Engineering served as a consultant to project architect, Burnette Architecture & Planning to provide MEP, site civil, surveying, and construction inspection services.
Stroud’s MEP engineers designed HVAC, electrical, lighting, and plumbing systems for the showroom, service areas, offices, and exterior façade and car lot. This project provided an opportunity to put economical and environmentally friendly processes in place including use of waste oil unit heaters for heating the service areas.
Stroud’s civil engineers addressed severe drainage problems present at the site, obtained coastal storm water permits in addition to site and utility planning.
